The main objective of the SEEP Project is launching an European Network of educational establishments and organisations in order to promote European co-operation and innovation in science education at secondary level in a European context. The Science Education European Platform (SEEP) will be a simultaneously a Forum to joint reflection and co-operation in identifying and promoting innovation and best practice in science education at secondary level and a platform to assist the persons and institutions involved in science education at secondary level in strengthening their co-operation and enabling them to maintain and consolidate their European co-operation on a sustainable way.
The whole project was designed based on that concept and the activities proposed, especially the development activities, are indeed Science Education European Platform activities (activities developed directly by network members, implemented and disseminated by network members, and mostly - but not exclusively – targeted to network members). Examples: network researching activities, network discussion forums, workshops, seminars and training activities, network science events, network innovative products and tools like the European Resources Generator, network proposals and discussion documents towards science education policies, etc.
The European network will persist after project funding further promoting European co-operation and innovation in science education at secondary level in European context.
