Università degli Studi "Guglielmo Marconi" is the first Italian Open University, acknowledged by the Ministry of Education, University and Research

(MIUR M. D. 1 March 2004 (published on Gazzetta Ufficiale n. 65 of 18th March 2004).

The Athenaeum, which is a public non state university, is registered in the “Anagrafe Nazionale delle Ricerche” (National Research Register) coordinated by the same Ministry (under the code n. 156535UMV, prot. MIUR 12553/164); it provides a high quality education through the use of innovative communication technologies which implement a continuous learning process without any limit of space or time.

The Athenaeum promotes activities addressed to the observation and improvement of EU functions and the functions supporting the management of complex collaboration programs among universities, institutions, local authorities, in a framework aiming at pushing positively the interactions with cultural associations, public and private bodies, and citizens.
In this context, high accessibility areas and W3C certifications result of a great efficacy, since they make these contents available to all, especially to the disabled.

According to its Charter general principles, the University promotes the international development of didactics, research and studies, considering the development of the cultural exchanges among the different countries as its main priority.
For these reasons, the Projects area constitutes one of the main resources to favour collaboration; in our site this area has been divided into national, European and international, according to the nature of the projects

Bupnet
BUPNET, founded in 1985, is an adult education provider accredited by the TÜV CERT according to the quality management standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2000. BUPNET’s mission is the promotion of innovation in education and training. BUPNET has successfully completed numerous training courses in various sectors (social and health sector, eCommerce, tourism, economy, intercultural issues etc.) both in the framework of European and national funded projects.

In 2001 BUPNET developed its own multilingual eLearning and collaboration platform that has been integral part of an awarded LIFE Environment project and various other EU- and national projects. BUPNET has considerable experience in (the coordination of) European projects on the theme of education, training and eLearning and possesses well-founded knowledge about the strengths and weaknesses, chances and limits of the “new ways of learning“ - especially regarding necessary specific blended learning didactics.

 

Sabancı Anatolian Technical High School
Sabancı Anatolian Technical High School is a technical high school which consists of data processing, electronic and chemistry departments. Our building is quite big and includes 3 laboratories for electric ,3 labs for chemistry, 1 lab for biology , 4 labs for data processing and 1 lab for English classes. Our conference hall is the biggest in our area. We have 519 students and 55 teachers. Science fields are the dominant fields in our school. Our school joins several competitions every year in which we get awards for various grades. We are also the coordinator school in our area so we are able to get connected with other science teachers from other schools. Our conference Hall is being used and still used by other schools in the area. In each department, students are trained for career choices in science guided by the teachers for further success. Our school is a part of a project that is about guiding primary school students to be a part of technical high schools.

 

Bursa Provincial Directorate of National Education
Bursa Provincial Directorate of National Education, headed by the Ministry of National Education, is a public educational authority which is responsible for the educational issues in the city.
Though special priority is given to school community, it takes active part in forming the education policy while implementing projects for different actors in aducation such as teachers, adults and adult trainers as well as education providers in general. In addition, with seminars, conferences and in-service training courses, it has gained experience in training programme materials in the field of management, self-evaluation, ICT, Total Quality Management, Leadership and Democracy Education.

 

Kocaeli EU Project Coordination Center
Kocaeli EU Project Coordination Center was founded in 2004 under responsibility of governorship of Kocaeli in order to accelerate Turkey’s accession and enable Kocaeli fully to get benefit from EU education programs. Our centre provides consultancy services and information within the frame of Life Long Learning Programs of EU, seventh research framework program (FP7), central finance & contracts unit.
Kocaeli EU Project Coordination Centre offers a comprehensive support in EU projects from the idea to the successful conversion. Since we have many schools and formal, non-formal, and informal educational insitutions under our responsibility, we wish them all to have oppurtunity to establish a partnership with European formal, nonformal and informal educational institutions that will lead both sides to share and exchange their experiences.

 

1st Office of Secondary Education – 3rd Directorate of Athens
The 1st Office of Secondary Education has the administrative responsibility of the Secondary Schools of a large area of Athens (Municipality of Egaleo) and has under its supervision 20 schools - 6.000 students and the school staff (500 teachers) operating on daily and evening basis.
It also collaborate with the National Department of Science, which coordinates the Labs of Science at schools, and with the Greek Pedagogical Institute participating to the team for the updated science books (for Secondary Education).

 

TECHNICAL COLLEGE, MIHAI BACESCU, FALTICENI ,ROMANIA
SCHOOL’S MISSION: provides for the young educational services based on responsibility, performance, equal chances at a high quality standard, both in national and European context, developing human values and improving professional competences.For a solid collaboration with other European institutions, our school was awarded in 2007 the title of “EUROPEAN SCHOOL” by The Romanian Ministry of Education and Youth.

 

Asociatia pro educatie si formare
The organisation, located in Ramnicu Valcea, Romania, is a not for profit organization, having a highly qualified and experienced team with large experience in training activities and with professional experience in education field.
The organization promotes on its territory activities addressed to adults and students. Its main activities focuses on vocational and continuos training, adult education and youth guidance, paying particular attention to international mobilities by implementing placement programs for students, young workers and postgraduates, and exchange programs for education experts and teachers.

 

  University of Nicosia
The University of Nicosia (UNIC) is the largest private university in Cyprus with some 80 full time faculty and 90 part time in a variety of undergraduate and post-graduate programmes in education, special education, computer science, engineering, business, communications, and multimedia. The School of Education employs 22 full-time faculty and 32 part time while it offers degrees in Primary and Pre-primary Education, and Masters degrees in Education, Educational Administration and Special Education. It has links with several pre-primary and k-12 schools with which it collaborates on several projects. UNIC’s degree programmes are accredited by the Cyprus Government, the NCA of USA and some European Accrediting Bodies. It currently has over 5000 students enrolled and around 28% of its student population are non-cypriots, something which makes it a multicultural institution where diversity and pluralism are valued.

The School of Education at UNIC has extensive experience participating in EU funded projects. One of the tasks of the research group within the School of Education is to conduct research to contribute to the improvement of education. In addition, we are experienced coordinators and participants of projects funded by the EU, the US Department of Education, and large corporations. We have strong expertise on adult education, special education, technology based learning, science education inclusive education, school improvement, social inclusion, intercultural education, teacher development, ICT, e-learning, distance education, collaborative inquiry, research, and evaluation.

 

Opportunities Aid Foundation
OAFMalta is a private foundation active in the fields of education and culture. It has a special affinity to the creation of learning spaces as viable opportunities for voluntary beneficiaries. It has a visible presence in the fields of intercultural education, use of media in education and youth activities and is part of international networks that enable it to maintain an active presence in various parts of Europe. Its team has more than 10 years experience in the field of international networking and cross border projects at a European and Mediterranean level. It has close working relationships with public, private and voluntary organisations from various countries as well as strategic partnerships that will see the Foundation through its road mapping project to 2015. OAFMalta operates Malti Media House that is an online broadcasting and production house that provides a platform to its dissemination activities.

 

Krakowskie Centrum Doskonalenia Kadr Oswiatowychl - KCDKO
KCDKO is a part of The Cracow Centre of Management and Administration Ltd – KCZIA.

KCZIA, founded in 1998, is working on the two areas:
1. Education for adults. Particularly: ICT, the psychological, PR, negotiation trainings. Special sector of our activity is Cracow Centre of the Improvement of
Educational Personnel - KCDKO. KCDKO is focused on teachers education and implementation of innovative practices. Ours courses include following subjects:
- entrepreneurship, - sustainable development, - methodology of the teaching,
- innovations in the teaching.
2. The outsourcing services adapted to specialized needs of other businesses. The fields of activity: economic and administrative, consulting, staff and financial service, accounting.
