Science Education European Platform (SEEP)

CONSORTIUM

The Consortium is composed by 15 members and 9 countries from different geographic areas of Europe.

That's a public/ private Consortium with 7 private organisations and 8 public organisations.

Being mostly composed by Education organisations (10 organisations), it has representatives of all types of organisations except Enterprise (1 schools association from Spain, 1 Counselling organisation from Greece, 1 Foundation from Malta and 2 Public authorities from Turkey).

The Education organisations include public and private secondary schools (general secondary schools and vocational or technical secondary schools), public and private Universities or Higher education institutions, 1 Adult education providers association, 1 Institution for teacher training, 1 Voc. training Centre.

Consequently, the Consortium possesses different and complementary competences (ex: science teaching/ learning, Foresight, E-learning, Blended learning, innovation in science learning/ training,  exploitation and dissemination, monitoring, management, events organisation, facilitator competences, etc.), all necessary to ensure that the work programme will be undertaken appropriately.

Although the majority of the workpackages are coordinated by P2 with Applicant orientation and supervision, there are many tasks or even global workpackages directly managed by the remain partners, accordingly to their competences (ex: all partners except P8, P13, P14 and P15 will organise or participate on the organisation of one global event or European Science Youth Day and Public event – or both -, the participating schools will coordinate science projects with students and produce scientists showcases and other audiovisual science products and will organise one Permanent European science exhibition in schools, P8 will be the internal evaluation partner and will support project coordination and monitoring, P13 will be the Dissemination and exploitation partner, etc.).
